NUMBER 3 is the latest project of Dimitris Papadopoulos and Yiannis Kondilis,
who previously collaborated with COMME DES GARÇONS to bring two of their
celebrated Guerrilla Stores to Athens. The Guerrilla Stores, according to their
intended design, have since disappeared - but in their place is NUMBER 3,
an evolution of the concept.
NUMBER 3 retains the COMME DES GARÇONS Guerrilla hallmarks of discreet
location and rare archive merchandise, but to these features adds selected other
brands, including RAF SIMONS, GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY and a new sense of established
permanence. The NUMBER 3 team have created a space in which strong
new aesthetic ideas have the time and attention to develop freely.
It is a place where the practice of fashion is, above all things, a mode
of personal expression.
